ORIGINAL MUFFLER

Polini never stops the engagement towards the timeless Vespa with the presentation of the brand new Original muffler.

Born with the aim to improve the performance, but at the same time to reduce noise, the Polini original muffler fits both for original engines and with standard kit ones.

Studied and designed to perfectly integrate with the design of the glorious Vespa, its shape and the embossed Polini name recall the iconic Polini muffler, distinctive mark for generations of Vespa riders.

The bend and interior design grant high-level performance with a contained noise level, but always pleasant.

The muffler is perfectly interchangeable with the original and it has been thought to use bigger 3.50-10 wheels.

SHOES SUPPORT PLATE

The new Polini Shoes support plate for Vespa classic is perfectly interchangeable with the original one.

It grants higher resistance to deformation and hits thanks to the special aluminum alloy at high resistant used to produce it.

It is provided with O-RING gasket, it replaces the original paper gasket thus granting a perfect seal.

CLUTCH CASE

In addition to the shoes support plate, Polini has designed a clutch cover for the Vespa Small Frame engines interchangeable with the original cover.

It a has a rackwork pusher That allows a fluid sliding and with low friction coefficient: this feature makes it very suitable for the clutches with upgrade spring load used on racing engines but, at the same time, it makes really smooth and soft the standard clutch control.

Made of high resistance aluminum alloy it has interior ribs that makes it work without the risk to be deformed with high load clutch spring.

The new clutch case is provided with control level and return spring in stainless steel to avoid problems of corrosion.

WAVE SPRING

Polini and Vespa, the evolution goes on with the wave spring, a spiral of newly conception produced with high precision construction techniques.

Thanks to the new honeycomb structure, it guarantees excellent flatness on the thrust faces of the clutch and it tolerates loads over 200 kgs. The Polini wave original spring is calibrated to have a load of 80 kg that can be modified with the setting shims supplied that allow a load variation till 200 kg of trust.

The spring is perfectly housed in the clutch hub that has been designed with a proper centring seat. The clutch hub and the pushing disc plates are made of nitrided steel machined from a block. The clutch discs have been finished with a material able to increase the friction coefficient to improve its seal under strain.
