Polini Motori has produced a new Evolution kit with a reed valve induction in the cylinder for the 125 Vespa Primavera ET3.
Thanks to its 152cc displacement it features high level of power in in every kind of driving and for any type of race.
The kit with Evolution reed valve induction in the cylinder is supplied with: cylinder, piston, head, reed valve, intake manifold and gaskets set.
The cylinder is cast in aluminium with bore d. 60x54mm.
The liner with Nickel-Siliceous coating improves the piston sliding, its resistance to wear and abrasion. The transfer ports are designed for racing. It has 6 transfers. The transfer has a central bridge for a better exhaust gas scavenging.
The head is cast forma block and some fins have been made under the head surface in order to improve the heat dissipation. The compression ratio has been designed to achieve the best performance.
The piston is cast in aluminium and it has two S10 chromed cast iron ring. After being worked the piston has been covered with special molybdenum-bisulphide coating that improves the piston sliding during the running in period.
The reed valve has 6 carbon flaps of 0,4 mm thickness and the geometry of the flow guide allows it to improve of the air-petrol mixtures incoming speed.
The intake manifold has been developed to be housed in its original space without any modification and to be matched with the d.34 Dell’orto VHSB Carburetor.
To be able to fit this cylinder kit, bore the crankshaft housing in the case. It is necessary to change the original crankshaft with a new Polini one, part no. 210.0070, with its connecting rod of 105mm and 54mm stroke. By fitting these parts you achieved a 152cc of displacement.

POLINI EVOLUTION CRANKSHAFT
FOR VESPA 125 PRIMAVERA ET3 – SMALL FRAME
The Polini “Evolution full-circle crankshaft” can be used only in combination with the brand-new cylinder with reed intake ref. 140.0227.
The shape of the circular bodies drastically reduces the casings internal turbulences increasing compression of the gases that go into the head during the burning phase. The balance has been achieved using inserts made of tungsten and aluminium caps to reduce the volumes.
It is compulsory to bore the case before fitting it.
The Polini “Evolution full-circle crankshaft” increases the stroke up to 54 mm.
The connecting rod is machined from a block, with 105 mm inter-axis.
The assembly of this product allows to reach a displacement of 152cc.
All the Polini crankshafts are perfectly balanced and grant the best performance.
