Polini updates the ECM “ENGINE CONTROL MODULE” for Vespa and Liberty 50 Euro 5 from 2025 with TFT display.

It is mandatory to replace the ECM for any set up.
Designed and adjusted thanks to the feedback coming form the Polini Racing dept. after many tests, the upgrade of the Polini ECM allows the choice between 3 different maps, giving to the end user the possibility to customize the vehicle.
Polini electronic ECM controls the engine, and it includes the connected sensors, the actuators, the fuel injection, the ignition and the engine auxiliary components. Polini ECM lets the vehicle performance increase using microprocessors of last generation, in synergy with a hardware that has been projected especially for this engine. It’s a plug & play ECM. Very easy and fast to install: it’s enough to disconnect the original one and connect the Polini ECM.

The maps selector is easy to use, and it is ready with set-up 3 maps:

• Map 1 (Original Map) – Studied to switch the vehicle to its original configuration, with factory engine, without any increase in engine rpm.
  This function is not applicable when oversized cylinder and valve springs are installed.
  Optional not mandatory: Polini Hi-Speed variator with 5,8gr rollers and Polini muffler
• Map 2 – increase of the engine rpm to 10.000 keeping the engine all original.
  And with this setting it is not mandatory to install the supplied valve springs, although recommended.
  Optional not mandatory: Polini Hi-Speed variator with 5,3 gr. rollers, Polini muffler and Polini upgrade air filter sleeve (in the models where installation is foreseen).
• Map 3 – It allows the vehicle to reach a maximum speed of 70–75 km/h. With a small additional step, it is possible to achieve maximum performance.
  The basis of this step is always the 49 mm diameter cylinder kit, which increases the engine capacity to around 80 cc (140.0236), combined with the Polini extended gear ratios (202.1429), which are mandatory for optimal results.
  Even with this mapping, it is recommended pairing it with the Polini variator (241.737) and the Polini muffler (190.0079).
  CAUTION: to use this map it is mandatory to replace all the original valves with those included in the package.
