POLINI RACING CONTROL SHAFT AND GEAR SELECTOR FOR VESPA PX

A technical upgrade for improved reliability, precision and safety

Polini introduces the new component specifically designed for Vespa PX 125, 150 and 200, consisting of a gear selector rod and gear cross, developed to improve the reliability, precision and safety of the transmission system.

Compared to the original configuration, Polini introduces a significant evolution in the fastening system. The new M10 thread, compared to the original M7, allows for a stronger and safer tightening torque of up to 40 Nm, improving the stability of the connection and reducing the risk of loosening during use.

Particular attention has also been paid to the choice of materials and treatments. Control shaft  and gear selector are made of 16NiCrMo12 steel and undergo case hardening and double cryogenic treatment, a combination designed to ensure high surface hardness and wear resistance, while maintaining the toughness required to withstand the stresses generated by the gearbox. 

The result is a significant technical upgrade over the original configuration, designed to provide greater shifting precision, durability and reliability. It is suitable both for Vespa PX models with original engines and for high-performance configurations, where the transmission is subjected to higher loads.
