Polini Italian Cup 2022 : third round in Ottobiano

Challenge number three for Polini Italian Cup, on Sunday it did a stop-over on the track of Ottobiano, for an event full of endless emotions. The weekend offered continual challenges, but most of all a lot of sport as it is in the tradition of the races organised by Moto Club Bergamo.
Among overtakings, extreme brakes and challenges, in the various classes, there have been double wins that make the championship fight even more compelling.

SCOOTER 100 BIG EVOLUTION OPEN:


Majestic performance of Filippo Corsi, risen again. Polini team rider is back to victory by firmly standing out in both rounds of the race. In Race 1 he puts behind his team mate Matteo Tiraferri and Nico Morelli, as in Race 2 the Spanish  Jose Requena gets the better of the official rider of Polini Motori, who has to settle for the third position.

We highlight, in the second round, the spectacular accident on the second bend after the start, luckily with no consequences for the riders.

Day podium: Corsi (25+25), Tiraferri (20+16), Requena (11+20).

In Scooter 70 Fans, Beneventi’s double win is confirmed and by 50 points only is more and more leading the championship standings. Behind him, challenge for second position between Emanuele Fulgeri and Luca Stocco, who alternate in the two rounds.

SCOOTER 70 SUPERSPORT


The championship leader Danny Raccagni proves to be again the protagonist of these two classes through two clear victories before Alex Rota and Andrea Casagrande, both second and third in Race 1 and Race 2. Competition with ups and downs for Matteo Tortosa, who keeps anyway the top three in the general parade.

SCOOTER 70 EVOLUTION


The Spanish Daniel Guerrero sticks out in both rounds with a double win that more and more catapults him on top of championship parade. Behind him, vibrant challenges. In Race 1 Koren tries to pass Zani and causes the fall of both. Antonio Paduano, second, and Marco Moroni, third, takes advantage of it.

In Race 2, Marko Mihael crosses second the finish line, followed by Moroni.
