24H MINIBIKE POLINI: IT’S WORLD RECORD


There are challenges that are incredible. Unique, unforgettable, incomparable. That’s record. And this is what Polini Motori completed.

“ 24h minibike Polini ” is a project born from of the journalist Valerio Boni’s wish  to get involved and he found Polini Motori as companion of adventure. The goal? To sign the Guinness World record driving a minibike for 24h and travel as many as kilometers possible.

Goal centered! Valerio started late in the afternoon on Tuesday Mat 11th at 5.30pm and after driving for 24h on the track in Castelletto di Branduzzo (PV) he not only broke the previous record (250km, 411 laps) but he tripled it, by recording the new record of 751,488 km travelled thanks to 1236 laps. After a start under the rain, Valerio didn’t stop riding kms till 12pm when another strong storm obliged him to stop for about 1h and 45 min and then he restarted.

Even three falls didn’t stop him to reach the goal: after 24h , 17 pit-stops to refuel, 1 front and 3 rear tires changes, 1 new chain, 2 brake pads and 1 clutch, on Wednesday 12th at 5.30 pm Valerio across the finish line.

To help him in this project, Polini technical staff’s experience who has supported Valerio for 24h using 1 Polini 910 Carena RS 6,2 minibike only.

To document this incredible adventure the Chrono Pavia’s timekeepers and one webcam that has recorded for 24h every single detail of the “ 24h Minibike Polini ”

Now just the time to send all proof to UK and wait for the officiality by the Guinness World Record association!
